Abstract
Excerpt: The goal of advancing resistance studies is to deepen our understanding of resistance, but it's important to recognize that knowledge can be shaped to serve specific interests. There is no such thing as a completely 'neutral' perspective; our viewpoints are inherently influenced by our interests and values. It is essential that our interests align with critical and emancipatory principles, positioning us in solidarity with subaltern groups and their struggles against domination. This perspective emphasizes the need for research that actively supports resistance movements and challenges oppressive structures.
