Excerpt
Excerpt: The book 세상을 바꾼 공익활동 (Social Movements That Changed the World) is a collection of stories of South Korean non-profit organisations (NPOs) trying to create significant social change. Compiled over the past five years by the Seoul NPO Centre (the Centre), it is a historical collection of 30 cases from the last 30 years that detail social movements in a variety of fields. Activists and researchers who led or are familiar with the campaigns participate as authors, vividly conveying the situation and process at the time of the movement.
