It is difficult to know today what will ultimately be gained or lost; history may interpret this period differently depending on what unfolds in the next decade or two. But certain shifts of the past two plus years are new in scale, depth, and potential. They did not stop Israel’s aggression, nor did they hold it accountable—but they have changed the political landscape in ways that matter for the future. I wrote a short article about five positive developments in the movement that make this moment distinct (link below). After publishing it, I received enriching comments on it in person and online.
