The Body as Ally is an online, participatory workshop that introduces the first practical elements of my “Embodied Toolkit for Resistance” that I am developing through my doctoral research on embodiment and reparative practices in climate justice activism. The workshop offers embodied tools for resisting fragmentation, nurturing collective resilience, and sustaining movements in times of crisis. In the session, I invite participants to explore how the body can become an ally in sustaining long term organising, particularly under conditions of repression, uncertainty, and socio ecological crisis. Rooted in feminist commitments to co created knowledge, in the workshop we approach embodiment not only as an object of study but as a site of political insight, relational accountability, and collective repair.
