Towards the end of 2025, a network of peace researchers published - in Russian and English - a book based on many years of experimentation and collaboration. Perpetual Peace Science bases its contribution on historic peacemakers and thinkers - Kant, Galtung, and many others - and builds on their work a new analysis of social change: the interpretation of spheral thinking based on a practical application of existing "eternal spheres of humanity."
This workshop will bring out the meaning of this spheral thinking, its application to local work and change, and its development into the Perpetual Peace Science that provides hope for the future. The book is based on contributions from 21 coauthors from 10 countries, largely coordinated by Global Gandian Global Harmony Association founder Leo Semashko, a councilor from St. Petersburg, Russia. RSI's own Matt Meyer served as chief editor of the English language edition, and other contributing authors include 1976 Nobel Peace laureate Mairead Corrigan Maguire, eminent philosopher Rudolf Siebert, and many others. This workshop will be largely informative, but participants will leave our time together with increased, scientific tools to increase effectiveness everywhere.
