This interactive panel spotlights women-led nonviolent movements in Cameroon, Uganda, Kenya, and Nigeria, where grassroots leaders defend communities, land, and human rights under authoritarian and unjust conditions. From confronting dictatorship and protecting reproductive rights to advancing environmental justice and community resilience, these activists use coalition-building, legal advocacy, civic education, and locally rooted organizing to create sustainable, people-powered resistance and transformative social change across diverse African contexts.
