Across Latin America, Indigenous and Afro-Latin communities face climate crises, authoritarian pressures, and threats to land and water. This panel showcases nonviolent strategies from Colombia, Brazil, and Ecuador, highlighting grassroots mobilization, artivism, autonomous climate advocacy, and resistance to extractive projects. Participants will explore practical approaches for territorial defense, community empowerment, and cross-border solidarity, demonstrating how local movements link climate justice, human rights, and nonviolent activism to protect ecosystems, amplify vulnerable voices, and build resilient, inclusive communities.
